A new build came out today while I was playing GW... but I checked guildwars.com and no update info was listed. Any ideas anyone?

It happens every now and then that theres an update but its not posted on the website. I'm guessing it's because its for something so small that it probably wouldn't make any difference at all to most people.

Might have related to the problems many people were having with the ToPK.

I noticed a lot of servers have been closing lately... Like today, beacon perch had 8 districts... only 1,2 and 7 worked.

We were fixing a server-related bug, and so we posted in the Network Updates page instead of the Game Updates, because it seemed more relevant.

All is well now, and no game changes were made.

I've never come across a company that actually bothers to do things like inform us like that before. Yes, it sometimes feels very superficial and shallow (like the American "have a nice day") but still. It's a refreshing change. And added to that, there's no motivation to keep us paying them a monthly rate for them to worry about. Although, they want us to stay onboard long enough to buy chap. 2, i suppose. Anet really does seem unusual in the effort it puts into us, though. Gotta like it

Tournaments and Guild Battles are currently nonfunctional. We are working on the issue and should have a resolution very shortly.

Most companies would just try to hide the fact that they RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up, or issue a bland apology. Anet fix it, fast, and keep us informed as they do so.
